Yay! Finally, I got paid after such a long time without pay. This is definitely going to affect my funds to go to Sydney, I just know it! I hate fortnightly pay. I have found it hard to save money in the past. However lately, I have lost interest in a lot of things that used to drain those funds. So I guess that's a plus. I don't buy as many DVDs as I used to. There's no really good games out that I like right now. So things may be looking up for me.
Lesson - Frugality with pay can go a long way.
I got bored of watching Family Guy and have switched to Futurama. I still think Family Guy is funnier, I just need to distance myself from it. I like Fry and Bender on Futurama, they're my two favourite characters. Bite my shiny, metal ass. Cracks me up. Haha.
It is a hot night here in Melbourne yet again! I hate hot nights! I cannot sleep in them. At least on cold nights you can rug up and wear layers. In summer when it's so hot, once you've stripped to a certain point and it is still hot, that's it. Bad luck son.
Lesson - My room is not a sleeping room for summer.
So I set everything up in the Dining room, my laptop and my books. Since it's within cooling distance of the air conditioner, it works out well. The only thing is that the futon I sleep on is nearly paper thin, so it can be a bit uncomfortable at times.
Yeah, not much has been happening lately because I am trying to stay home and not spend my money. I'm sure I'll have tons to write about once I am in Sydney!
