I tried to book the place I wanted to stay at for my trip up to Sydney. No luck, the guy said he's not sure if he has rooms available around that time. Bloody hell, I sure hope I can find something. This is becoming a pain in the ass. I really want to stay there. Fingers crossed.
Lesson - When going on holiday, book ASAP.
Went to Chadstone today to just have a bit of a wander around. I checked out the huge manga section they have at Borders, which was awesome. I also floated around JB Hi Fi, EB Games, Myer and the like. Speaking of Myer a friend of mine works there, so I thought I'd pop in and browse in the off chance I'd see him. He wasn't there, but someone else was.
This was a friend from the past. I had problems with him a few years back. He had troubles with a girl and took it out on his friends. It was a rough time for him and our friendship just vanished. It was a pretty crap way to end a friendship. Oh well...
He was pleased to see me and we spoke for a bit. It was good in a way. I know the past hasn't fully healed yet, but small doses is good. It's good to see that he's doing well.
I also bought some Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for my family to have. They're very nice indeed, however we were cutting them with knives and eating parts of it. Even though we did that, the results were still the same.
Lesson - Donuts fall under the Pringles rule "Once you pop, you can't stop".
Good thing we have wide doorways. I might try rolling around the block tomorrow.
Anyways take care of yourselves. If you're eating Krispy Kreme, that might be a challenge.
